Originally from Michigan, I moved to Lakewood Ranch to accept a position within the Wellness industry as a clinical exercise physiologist. While I’ve enjoyed caring for human clients over the years, my real passion is working with animals.

I grew up surrounded by many Siamese cats, our Brittany Spaniel, and my hamster Gwen. I’m always grateful for the time I can spend with animals. They teach us how to live in the moment and of course unconditional love.

My Vizslas are my constant companions, whether swimming at the beach, rollerblading at Benderson, or hiking the trails in Lakewood Ranch.

Originally from western Pennsylvania, I now reside in sunny Lakewood Ranch with my lovely husband, our three adorable kitties, and our mastiff-pit mix named Bodhi.

Being an animal lover has always been a significant part of my life, and I am truly grateful to live surrounded by the love of the pets in our community.

In my spare time, I enjoy taking my pup to the beach, shark toothing in Venice, and camping. I look forward to caring for your babies!

Dog Walker/Pet Sitter

I’ve lived in the Lakewood Ranch area for 12 years, originating from the Boston area. I have my Bachelor's Degree in Business Management and Supervision, and a health and wellness certification for personal training. Animal care and fitness are a true passion of mine.

I have three of the sweetest cats, who definitely keep me entertained, and have all the love to share. Being able to come home to such sweet faces, is truly a blessing.

I enjoy power lifting in my free time, attending car meets, graphic design, and learning new food recipes to experiment with!

Originally from Massachusetts, my husband and I made the move to the Sunshine State in 2020. I recently completed my Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. My background as a special education teacher has instilled in me a deep love of learning, which I now get to channel into my true passion, animal care and behavior.

As a teacher, I was always passionate about therapy animals.I had a pet guinea pig, Reeses, who was with me for many years. We also invited a therapy dog, Gracie, to come visit weekly. I am training my dog Tim, to hopefully one day become a school therapy dog!

In my free time I love to spend time with my husband and our two rescue pups- Bear and Tim. Together we love to go on road trips to Disney.

I am a Sarasota native, born and raised right on Siesta Key. In my late teens I made the move to beautiful Punta Gorda where I trained under multiple master pet groomers at a top notch salon to further my pet education and experience in the field, as well as receiving certification in Clinical Pet Nutrition. I moved to peaceful Myakka City after hurricane Ian to be closer to my family and enjoy the farm life.

My current babies are named Miśo and Tally, a Pomeranian and a tiny long haired Chihuahua who absolutely love to get in their backpack and go in any adventure that includes other dogs or people. My calling in life has always been to show every animal as much love, respect, and compassion as I can in every way possible.

In my free time I enjoy taking my pups to work on agility training exercises and spending time with my partner going hiking or on nature walks. I also love baking and making home made pet treats for my pups.

Dog Walker/Pet Sitter

I moved to Lakewood Ranch from cold and snowy Rochester, NY. I ventured here for the beautiful weather with my boyfriend and two dogs, Larry and Alfie. Larry was rescued as a puppy from Tennessee. Alfie is also a rescue; he is a Beagle–Australian Shepard mix. Luckily, my full-time job allows me to work from home, so I get to spend most of the time with my boys.

I fell in love with dogs at a very young age. Growing up, we always had multiple pups. I’ve always been the friend or family member everyone calls when they need a pet sitter. I enjoy caring for animals and ensuring they are at their happiest.

In my free time, I like to go on long walks with the dogs, travel, and explore new areas.

Originally from the north, my husband and I realized we wanted to move somewhere warm and ended up in Florida. We have had many pets: seven cats, a hamster, a rabbit, four turtles, and six dogs. Currently, we have two Chihuahuas - Chico and Little Bear.

I am an avid animal lover and have volunteered at Southeastern Guide Dogs caring for adorable puppies for the last 5 years.

I enjoy travel, photography, and outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, and the beach.

Throughout my life, I've cherished all pets, yet dogs hold a special place in my heart. Whether it's the joy of playing fetch, receiving slobbery kisses, or enjoying cuddle sessions, dogs truly embody the phrase "man's best friend." Despite my fondness for dogs, I have a deep love for cats and all animals alike. Recently, I've been grieving the loss of my beloved dog, Roco, which has left a hole in my heart. I am thrilled to join Glad Wags and eagerly anticipate meeting your furry friends!

I was born and raised in Naperville, Illinois, and later moved to Sarasota in 1994.

Growing up, I had a Pekingese named Charlie who was my cherished companion. In my adult years, Joey, my first chihuahua, passed away at the age of 18. Tia Marie, my current chihuahua, brings so much joy with her playful and social nature.

I am now retired after a fulfilling career as a pet groomer. Working with animals has been incredibly rewarding; their innocence, especially in their eyes, is something I deeply appreciate.

I enjoy watching baseball and going to the games. Go Rays! I usually go to a few concerts a year as I love live music. 

Dog Walker/Pet Sitter

I’m originally from Pennsylvania but have lived in the Sarasota-Bradenton area for over twenty years.

 I have always been an animal lover and found my passion when I began volunteering at the Humane Society of Manatee County as well as mentoring at Nates Honor Rescue. I currently have three rescue dogs from local animal shelters. My fur babies are Scruffy, (Poodle mix), Rowdy (Shih Tzu mix), and Dallas (Pitbull mix).  

I enjoy going to concerts, attending sporting events, and traveling.

I lived in metro Atlanta Metro for most of my life. I moved to Lakewood Ranch in 2019 and absolutely love it—including the summers!

I have always owned cats and have 2 beautiful rescue tabbies who are great company (and even better alarm clocks). I also enjoy walking my brother-in-law’s labradoodle. She has a tremendous amount of energy and is always up for an adventure.

I enjoy being outside, and my interests include golf, hiking, photography, and hanging out at the beach.
